There are a lot of great ways to display your product and information within your beDigital Joomla website, many of which provide the option for high quality imagery and animation. Though a picture may be worth a thousand words, sometimes a thousand just isn't enough! In those cases, adding a paragraph above or below your module or menu item content can be a great way to provide just a bit more information to your site's users.

Depending on the page setup, there are a few different ways to achieve this.

Article menu items with modules

Adding modules, such as feature boxes or forms, to a page can be a great way to engage users with your content. To create a page with, for example, a feature box module with text above or below, would involve the below steps.

1. Create your article

If you're unsure of how to create an article, you can follow the steps in our Articles Help Guide. This article should include the text that you want to display above or below your module.

2. Create your menu item

You can find information on creating single article menu items in our Menus Help Guide, on slide 3.

3. Create your module

You can find information on creating modules, such as feature boxes, in our Modules Help Guide.  

4. Assign your module position

In the Modules Help Guide above, we recommend setting the position to 'content-after'. This position places the module below your article text/ content. However, if you would like your article content to display above your module, you can instead set the position to 'content-before'.

Region Gadgets (booking results)

Sometimes just displaying your product isn't enough - you may want to highlight exactly what makes your members great! Adding some text above or below the Region Gadget is a good way to achieve this. A great example of this can be seen on https://www.visitqueensland.com.au/stay. 

1. Create your article

If you're unsure of how to create an article, you can follow the steps in our Articles Help Guide. This article should include the text that you want to display above or below your Region Gadget.

2. Navigate to your Region Gadget menu item

This will generally already be setup for you by the beDigital team. You can generally find this by navigating to Menus > Main Menu > *the name of your booking page* (eg. Stay). 

3. Once you've clicked into the item, click the Search Options tab

This will be the second tab, just below the menu title

4. Scroll down, and click select next to either the Article Above or Article Below field, depending on where you want your text

Once you choose select, a window will appear allowing you to choose your article. The most recently created article will be at the top of the list. Choose your article from the list.

5. Save
